Lafayette Inn & Restaurant 

Built in 1840 this historic inn offers sophisticated Southern cuisine in an elegant yet casual dining atmosphere. Steeped in history the building served as a hotel, restaurant, saloon, boarding house, and hospital during the Civil War.

Locally owned, and steeped in history, the restaurant’s name derives from the building’s original function of a Tavern and Grocery. The fare is French-influenced and locally sourced which includes ingredients collected from its own garden.
