UVA University Hospital is the centerpiece of UVA Health’s academic medical center, providing advanced inpatient and outpatient care, laboratories, clinics, and specialized medical services. The hospital is open 24 hours a day. For visitors and patients, the main lobby entrance is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.; between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., visitors should enter through the Emergency Department entrance.

Patient parking in UVA Health’s parking garages is free with validation. The Lee Street Garage, directly across from University Hospital and the Emergency Department, is the primary garage for hospital appointments. The 11th Street Garage is also available for University Hospital patients and visitors. Valet parking is available at University Hospital, with current hours and pricing available through UVA Health.
