The Virginia Festival of the Book brings writers and readers together to promote and celebrate books, literacy, and literary culture. The Shelf Life virtual event series, which runs year-round, includes programs for all levels and interests. In March, the annual Book Festival programming promotes new books, on a variety of topics and across genres, that are timely and important, and which will prompt discourse, inspiration, and connection. The Festival is held at various locations at UVA and around Charlottesville.
