Primary Care Center stands adjacent to University Hospital. It is one of more than 20 UVA Health locations serving the primary care needs of residents in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties. Primary Care Center takes care of the general healthcare needs of children, adults, and seniors, UVA’s primary care physicians do regular check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings, in addition to handling illness and injury care. If you require specialist care, they can help coordinate it.

The Primary Care Center is also home to several outpatient specialty care clinics including Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, Adult Neurology Clinic, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Center, Dermatology, Digestive Health at Primary Care Center, EEG, and Evoked Potential Lab, Family Medicine, Family Stress Clinic, General Gynecology, Ketogenic Diet Clinic, Midwifery Primary Care Center, Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy Clinic, Pediatric and Young Adult Multiple Sclerosis Clinic, Pulmonary Clinic. Appointments must be scheduled with the individual clinic.
