Palmer Park ballpark is the first athletics site at UVA to be named after a former female student-athlete. The stadium has chairback and grandstand seating behind home plate, grass hillside seating down the right field line and a berm for patrons beyond the outfield wall. At the stadium you will find the concession stand positioned behind home plate on the main concourse. Fans will also find the Team shop in close proximity where they can purchase Virginia athletics merchandise. 

Additionally, the ACC Network will use this new facility to broadcast several games, giving a boost to UVA’s women’s sports. The stadium will also serve as a new top-quality training facility, thus further enhancing UVA’s softball program.
