The McCue Center, named after the legendary University of Virginia sports medicine physician Dr. Frank C. McCue III, serves as a primary administrative hub for the university’s athletic department at 290 Massie Road in Charlottesville. Opened in 1991 to honor Dr. McCue’s four decades of dedicated service to Cavalier student-athletes, the facility houses numerous coaching staffs, team support offices, and athletic administration. While it historically functioned as the main operational base for the football program, it now forms an interconnected network with the adjacent Harrison Family Olympic Sports Center and the newer Hardie Football Operations Center.
