The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia houses a permanent collection of nearly 14,000 objects spanning cultures, periods, and artistic traditions from around the world. Collection highlights include European and American painting, photography, works on paper, African art, Asian art, Pre-Columbian art, and Native American art. Through its exhibitions, educational programs, research opportunities, and digital resources, The Fralin connects visitors, students, scholars, and the broader community with works of art and diverse perspectives.

The museum presents a changing schedule of exhibitions drawn from its permanent collection and loans from other institutions, along with tours, talks, workshops, family programs, and other events. Group tours are available for school groups, UVA groups, community groups, and adult groups and can be tailored to different ages and interests.

Admission is free, and donations are welcome. The museum is ADA accessible, with an accessible entrance and elevator located behind the building. Parking is available in designated spaces behind the museum and in the A6 lot, as well as at Culbreth Garage, where visitor parking is paid via ParkMobile on weekdays until 5 p.m. and is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
